“Take out of the smoked products is the best”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

We have been purchasing the smoked turkey thighs, legs, and breasts for many years. In fact, we have that in lieu of cooking a whole turkey at Thanksgiving. They are wonderful - although the dark meat pieces are more juicy. I was thrilled when they opened the new Whole Foods in the Philadelphia suburbs so that I could get the smoked meats and other special takeout items close to home

“Great location and lots of options for vegetarians”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

One of our favorite supermarkets located close to I-66 and Fairfax Co Parkway. The deli/prepared foods is diverse with lots of options for vegetarians.

“groceries a few steps from hotel”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

prices are not bad considering the convenience to the hotel and the quality of the products. Fresh vegetables, fruits, and deli selections are ready for the quick meal after day of touring.

“Always something for everyone”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

If you are with a group, or just another person who has a hard time making up their mind, go to Whole Foods for lunch or dinner. There are so many varieties of food to choose from, everyone will find something. There is a BBQ bar with pulled pork, chicken, ribs and all the sides. There is a seafood bar which always has 3-4 soups going, aside from the side down service. There is a soup bar over near the BBQ bar and one near the buffet foods. There is a sushi bar, and packaged sushi to go. Pizza, hot entrees, desserts. Seriously, what more do you want? Is it weird eating a grocery store? Yeh, maybe, but if it weirds you out too much, go to the sports bar and never go into the super market part. This is the one place you want to go if you have to satisfy a bunch of different appetites.

“Best WholeFoods Market Ever”
Reviewed December 10, 2012

This has got to be the best WholeFoods. Besides the usual supermarket it has several in-store diners: seafood, BBQ, sushi bar, cheese/wine. You can sit down and have a full dining experience where food is cooked right in front of you. Seafood diner can actually cook what you buy at the seafood section for $3 extra. I usually go for the ribs & beer at the BBQ diner ($18 for full slab).
The best part is their full Sports Bar with numerous HDTVs that play all kind of sports. You get microbrews for $4 a glass along with your usual pub fare.
I recommend that you visit it on Sunday as there is always a jazz band or some such group is playing live music. You won't be disappointed ... and get your grocery shopping done also.
