“This is the place to sample a variety of ales. The food isn't bad, either.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We decided to try Dogfish Head because it is about half-way between us and another couple we were meeting for lunch. We were all impressed with the extensive selection of ales, and much enjoyed the ones we tried. Everyone in the party was also pleased with the food - on this occasion, grouper, chicken, and roast beef sandwiches. The servers were friendly and efficient. We've already been back twice within a month.

“Dogfish”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013 via mobile

Small cozy bar. In places a bit too smile. Neighborhood crowd. Food was good, but had the steak and it was cooked okay. Seasoning was good. A bit of a tough cut. Overall good experience.

“Don't Understand the Raves”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

We saw the ranking and had to try it. The food was average, at best I got the feeling the raves are because of the beer selection, which is good. My wife and I thought the food was equal to say an Applebee's or Ruby Tuesday. We won't go back.

“Good microbrew selection”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

Nice to find a good microbrewery & restaurant while visiting the east coast. We're spoiled with an abundance of good microbreweries & coffee houses in Oregon. This felt like home, but with the east coast crowd. Very nice. A bit loud & a bit of a wait, but fun weekend evening out. Great variety of beer, good food. Didn't stay for the live music.

“Nice place, good food and drinks.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

Saturday night dinner. Hopping place. Don't go if you are in a hurry or want a quiet conversation. Busy and loud, everyone having a good time. Great variety of edibles. Had a plate of mussels for an appetizer. Yummy! Many kinds of beer on tap. Great menu selections. Live music that night. We left before it started. Moderately priced.
