We stayed at the Comfort Inn on Monday August 5th 2013. We had traveled to the DC area to take in a game between the Braves (whoo-o) and the Nats. We got there early around 2 pm. They allowed us to check in early which was great. The location of the motel is convenient to Restaurants and I-66. Our room was very nice though a little dated. It had a nice size flat screen tv and there was a Jacuzzi in our room which we enjoyed. However we were very dissappointed when having got there early we decided to go for a swim before we went to the game and found out that the pool isn't open except between the hours of 5-10 pm. I thought that is so ridiculous. The sun isn't shining and everyone is either having dinner or is (as we were) out during those hours. My son tells me that it may be due to a ridiculous law (my commentary) in northern va that there has to be a life guard on duty for the pool to be open. I don't know but I know that it really affected how I am reviewing the hotel. They have both and indoor and outdoor pool but it is unavailabe when most people would need it.
The breakfast the next morning was good and the staff was nice but not sure that we will stay here again in the summer time anyway.
