Very interesting and easy to navigate the museum. Great destination for visiting family and friends who enjoy firearms that is easily accessed and doesn't require a big commitment of time.

“Interesting for Non-Gun Lovers”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

I'm not much into guns, but the history of them is very well documented, and the old ones are fascinating.

“Amazing firearms collection”
Reviewed March 19, 2014

The NRA has a very impressive collection of firearms of all periods and types, including interesting pieces used in movies and TV shows. Also many historic firearms, including some that belonged to Teddy Roosevelt, and a gun that belonged to a Mayflower pilgrim. Many of them are also very artistically decorated. Very interesting, and free admission. A must for anyone who appreciates fine firearms.

“Great For Those Who Enjoy Guns”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

My knowledge regarding firearms is relatively limited, yet my wife and I enjoyed our trip to this museum quite a bit. One doesn't need to be familiar with every make and model to appreciate the craftsmanship that went into making many of the weapons in the collection. The museum also does a great job of highlighting the historical and cultural significance of guns in the United States, both through featuring guns from different historical periods and those used in different motion pictures or owned by different prominent figures. My favorite part of the museum though was the exhibit of Theodore Roosevelt's Library with items on loan from Sagamore Hill. Also, the gift store has great prices!

“family trip”
Reviewed February 18, 2014

This was our first trip here and we brought our two daughters. It was very interesting to see all of the guns and displays from different times. Also enjoyed the display of the different guns used in movies. So many to look at.
