While travelling up the east coast this was a convenient stopover. Cluster of five motels just off 95. Very comfy beds and clean room. Minor concern w mold in rest room. Breakfast prepped early to hit the road

With so many places to choose from for a good nights stay finding the Sleep Inn at Emporia Va. is a good thing. The Hotel is right off 95 and near quite a few restaurants. The front desk has always been cordial and the rooms clean. The mornings have a nice choice of breakfast foods and the room rates are reasonable The big plus is that it is a pet friendly hotel.

Room tip: We like staying at the end of the hall on the 4th floor (416)

Thank you to the front desk clerk who checked us in last Saturday evening. We arrived after a 14-hour travel day with our dog. I booked the hotel because it was pet friendly, but I apparently didn't book the room correctly, so we had been assigned a regular room, and all of the pet friendly rooms were already taken. Despite working completely on his own answering phone calls and trying to check multiple parties into their rooms, he was able to make a phone call to a manager and get approval to check us (including the dog) into one of the other available rooms. The room was great, and I hope our brief stay with the dog did not cause any problems. We were happy with everything from the comfort of the room to the good network service to an above-average breakfast selection. If I'm ever in need of a room in the Emporia area again, I'll be sure to come back to this Sleep Inn, whether traveling with our dog or not. Thank you again for being so helpful and understanding.

Good for a transit stop but based on the price I would not stay longer than one night. Good efficient check in and good location just of off 95. Really good Bar-b-que place about 2 mile south off of 95. Normal breakfast.

Checked in and key didn’t work had to come down from 4 th floor and have keys redone it was late and I had two dogs so a bit of a pain . The floors in the room clearly aren’t being cleaned enough smelled like cat spray and heavy animal smell — my two dogs are completely trained so I am not used to this and I think if they aren’t going to keep up on cleaning they should switch to a vinyl plank flooring in the pet rooms as the odor was pretty tough to take — looking back I should have requested a new room but the bed was clean and we were tired so we roughed through it — maybe I’ll try the Hampton inn next door next time as we travel home this way often from Florida
