We originally wanted to stop at Wilson's, but they are closed on Sundays so we stopped here instead. I had a good feeling about this place as soon as I saw the crowd. It was packed with churchgoers in their Sunday best. The food is served buffet-style and there are lots of dishes from which to choose. The pulled pork was great in the Carolina-style vinegar sauce. The fried chicken was juicy and flavorful. The mashed potatoes are homemade...really. Homemade mashed potatoes at a buffet! We loved pretty much everything we tasted except for the crab cakes which were deep fried and mostly filler. Oh, and save room for dessert because there's sweet and gooey pecan pie, apple cobbler, puddings, cakes and more. And if you've got kids or aren't necessarily into southern food, there are some basics like spaghetti, chicken strips and mac n cheese on the buffet. The price was reasonable, too. Just over 30 bucks for a family of three. Not bad for Plan B.
