“Warehouse turned eating/shopping place.”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

Bob Irvine would love this place because the menu is short and sweet. Nothing fancy, but all good. We ate here twice after mornings at the Massanutten waterpark, and everything was good.

“Breakfast on the Run”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

Stopped in this place after driving down the road and needed a quick bite. The staff was so very friendly and talked us into Luray Caverns which I have reviewed. Breakfast was ready quickly as our day was very busy. Food was great and they have wines, gifts and more in the entrance to the restaurant.

“Unusual mixture of food, crafts and art”
Reviewed January 16, 2014

Oysters are a specialty. The dinner menu is limited . The lunch menu has some wonderful sandwiches. Wine and beer are served and the prices are reasonable. Quiche is also a specialty of the house and is well done but, the portion is small. The breakfast is good as well but, it is edging up in price. The former chef from the Chesapeake Bay region is no longer working here and some of us locals have noticed a dimunition in the food quality, esp the seafood.

“Great find”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

Spotted this on the way out of Massanutten Resort while looking for someplace to have lunch and decided to give it a try. Glad we did. I had the salad plate with chicken salad, tuna salad and potato salad. Fantastic! Husband had cheeseburger which he seemed to like. Came back for breakfast another day. We both had the breakfast platter which included eggs, meat, potatoes and toast. The food was really good and so was the service. There is art for sale and a few antiques and some wine from local winery. We would definitely go back for the great food and service!

“Go for Breakfast”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

Go for Breakfast! It was great and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly despite the large volume of people there. The sausage gravy biscuit was close to what Mom use to make and fresh coffee made the morning. The "Art" part of the cafe is a collection of crafts, jams, wine and photos and paintings. These are for purchase. Going back for dinner was a mistake. There was just too much activity There was a wine tasting going on which made getting a table very confusing. There was apparently 2 different lines, one for the wine tasting and one for the food. It was unclear if were should wait to be seated or just find a table. There was a delay in getting menus and when we did the menu was very limited to lots of seafood and fish. I don't go to the mountains to eat seafood, really? The price for dinner could have bought a fabulous meal at another restaurant. I would have rather had breakfast again!
