While the service was great and the winery has been around for some time, I was not impressed with their selection or the wines themselves. My wife and I stopped here before a wedding that we were attending and were very disappointed.

Stopped by Shenandoah Vineyards and found a rustic tasting room in a neat, converted barn, set among the vines. We tried all 12 of the wines offered and liked all of them. It is well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Touring Virginia wines we discovered Shenandoah Vineyard and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The location the owner and staff are just wonderful.

We asked if we could have our wedding there and with quick approval the wheels were in motion. We were blessed with a perfect November day and a beautiful venue. Our hosts were accommodating on our big day and made recommendations as we were planning.

We return regularly for festivals and to bring selections of wines home always feeling like we are somehow returning home.

Very convenient to route 81 off the Edinburg exit (279?). They are on the west side of the highway, just north of the exit.

If you are passing through the region, stop off to get some wine for home, then go into town and enjoy a meal at Sal's Italian Bistro. A great pairing for sure.

What a pleasant visit and wine tasting we had. TC was such a great and knowledgable host and the veranda overlooking the grapes was as comfortable and relaxing as could be. The whites were suberb and I usually stick to reds.

We showed up early on a Sunday and had the owner all to ourselves. For $5 there is a long list of 10+ wines to taste ranging from dry to sweet, from serious to fun, and everything in between. While we were too early for the tour, we really enjoyed the one on one attention, tasting the award-winning wines, and hearing about the history of the winery. A very nice variety of wines are available whether you like white, red, dry, fruity, or sweet, and the views are pretty. Absolutely worth a stop.
