“A very bad experience”
Review of Horseshoe Resort

Horseshoe Resort
Reviewed April 4, 2012

Our stay was actually a couple of years ago - Tub leaked, lights didn't work. We returned from tubing to find the door to the room was left wide open after housekeeping was finished, no idea how long it had been left open, even though they had obviously not finishing cleaning as there was dirt all over the carpet that wasn't there when we left. Maintenance was supposed to fix the tub while we were out, but never showed up so we had to vacate the room AGAIN - manager wasn't terribly helpful. We had booked to stay two nights, they offered us the second night free, but we packed up and left at 10:30 at night the first night and came home.

Our family gets seasons passes for skiing every year and we love it. The hills are perfect for my younger kids, yet challenging enough for my husband and I.

They are only concentrating in trying to sell real estate. Not enough lift personel and the staff seemed to not care. You ski into line for the lift and all you can smell is pot. The runs were poorly groomed the groomers had left chunks on the hill which isn't good when you are trying to geta child to be confident on skis.

There are many choices in the area try Mt St Louis Moonstone, little more of a drive but better than the service and facilities here.

Although it seems the hills of Horseshoe have stayed pretty much the same throughout the years, the other attractions have improved beyond imagination! They have an outdoor adventure park with tonns of attractions, snow tubing, zip lines, tree top trecking, among many other attractions!
