Heading to Dulles for a afternoon flight back to Oregon, we decided to grab a quick lunch at Red Robin. Our past experiences lead us to believe we would get a acceptable lunch but, most importantly, quick service we had come to expect. Boy! were we wrong. More waitpersons on duty than diners and we got seated and forgotten. Most upsetting was the number of servers walking past our table to refill salt/pepper, etc and talk among themselves. Finally, my wife went to the host and he said he would send someone right over. He did check on us about 5 minutes later and when we told him noone had been by to even bring water, he said he would take care of us personally, which HE DID!. The manager did come over awhile later to apologize - a desert- but since there were 4 of us we passed. Nice tip for our server/low mark for the place.
