The party really gets going as the Grande Bandstand and the midways of International Street come to life with our all-new block party, Ignite the Night! featuring an impressive cast singing some of your favorite hits! And the party isn't complete without a magnificent display of fireworks lighting up the nighttime skies above the park. Open daily during the summer; weekends in the spring and fall.

Travelled with 3 teen boys (17, 18, 19), a 2 yr old girl, and mother. I love roller coaster rides and was looking forward to the newest roller coaster but it had speed but not the thrill of the drop I like. I enjoyed the drops at both Busch Gardens and Orlando theme parks but was not really impressed with the 305 Intim. The light spectacular show is beautiful and we really enjoyed that. Water park was nice but cut short because of the rain. That is just my take on things.

Lots of stuff to do here, to much for one day, was disappointed in the closing of the rides do to an incoming thunderstorm but that's on mother nature.

We visited KD on 8/10/11 and had a great time. We got there just as it was opening and breezed through parking and got a great space close to the entrance. The park was empty when we got there, but some of the rides don't open until noon as well as the water park. After taking a break for lunch (which we brought our own) we hit the water park at about 1:00 pm. Make sure to take flip flops or water shoes as the surfaces get VERY hot. Also locker rentals start at $12.00 for a small locker, but you can use it all day. The first slide we hit was the Tornado. While it was alot of fun, it was a pain carrying the huge raft up several flights of stairs. We tried everything and really enjoyed the water park. Our boys are 9 and 7 and could ride all the slides. After leaving the water park we stayed at KD for a few more hours, re-riding some of our favorites. We are not coaster people, but still found plenty to do. We had no problems with crowds or rowdy people and the staff were very friendly. Check the internet for great discounts, bring snacks as food is very expensive and wear comfy shoes, you will be doing alot of walking. It was a great time and a fun way to end our summer vacation, we are considering season passes for next year!

Kings dominion. Drive on. And on. And on. And you're still not there. Crazy expensive tickets, parking and food. Not to mention he gas to get there.
Then once every penny has been shaken out of your wallet, they give horrible customer service. I know all the team members are only fifteen, but seriously. Ugh.

This place is so much fun. My friends and I had an all day pass and that was the best decision we ever made. So many rides and attractions. There is a ride there for everyone. I'm not really into crazy roller coasters but there were quite a few there that I could tolerate and had a lot of fun on. Then of course there are the outrageous ones if you are more daring. There are a lot of 3D/4D movies that anyone from young to old can enjoy. It rained that day but thank God KD is in Virginia so it rains for like 2minutes and stops. The employees would test out the rides then let us back on. There were a lot of games to win prizes and stuffed animals. Honestly this place is definitely better than Six Flags and Dorney Park, EXCEPT they could add more water rides to compete with Dorney Park's Wild Water Kingdom.
