“Small Place with Great Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2014 via mobile

The place is small, its right off 58 in downtown. Menu is small, but the catfish tacos are awesome. We'll be back for sure next time we're in town.

“Forget This Place...unless you want an excellent lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014

Forget This Place...unless you want a good lunch after doing the Virginia Creeper Trail. Nice funky atmosphere, friendly workers, and one fine pork burrito. Nothing outstanding, but certainly adequate in a small town with limited choices. Service was slow, but it seemed to be due to the laid-back approach rather than negligence. The pace of life is comfortable and slow in Damascus.
They were out of the highly rated catfish tacos so that was a disappointment. The shrimp taco was average.

We will be back next year for another excellent pork burrito and to try the catfish taco.

“Will be back soon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2014 via mobile

It's a cute place with a small menu but the food is hella good. I ordered the veggie burrito and I'm not a fan of mushies so the guy/owner who was cooking offered to throw all sorts of other veggies in! Rice is a must try!

“Best Tex-Mex since I left San Antonio!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2014

I stopped here with my 4 grandchildren after riding the Creeper Trail and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the food! We got the tacos and it transported me back to San Antonio ( it is hard to get a GOOD taco on the east coast) The waiter was more than patient when it took the girls forever to decide what they wanted...The food was cooked to perfection, the service fast and the atmosphere inviting. We will make this a regular place to dine when we come to Damascus!
