“Great meal!”
Reviewed March 11, 2014

We had a fabulous meal here last week for my husband's birthday dinner. Both of our salads and dinners were excellently prepared and the dessert was delicious! My husband had the special NY strip which was 16 oz and rare, just how he ordered it! I had the veal medallions with artichokes, marsala, and buffalo mozzarella. Also, our servers (Andrew and Pierre) were great. One thing to be aware of is that the evening specials can be pricey so don't be afraid to ask (prices aren't on the menu for those meals). We will be back soon!

“our it's about time lunch”
Reviewed March 5, 2014

The people there are very sociable.
And the food is extremely fresh. The bread is the best!!
The restaurant is on a busy main street. And the atmosphere is a nice change of pace. Also, they have a store next door.

“Saturday Lunch”
Reviewed March 2, 2014

Stopped in Culpeper for a late Saturday lunch on way to Charlottesville. We were fortunate to find the restaurant open at 2PM, when the other restaurants in town are closed. My wife and I both choose items from the daily specials and were very satisfied in our selections. Both the beef pot-roast and pork meals were very good. the beef had been shredded and came with plenty of vegetables, My pork came with all the German sides on one large hot plate. The place can get crowded which causes your order and food to take longer than average, so don't expect a quick turn when the dinning room is full.

“Local Favorite ”
Reviewed February 13, 2014 via mobile

Go for lunch and try the daily puff pastry (if they haven't run out) or one of the delicious daily specials. For dinner, I usually stick to appetizers, although the sea bass is fantastic, when they have it as a special. Bring a big appetite, the portions are more than generous.
