“Delicious and fresh ingredients”
Reviewed November 28, 2012

Out of town on business and entertained clients here for lunch. Food was really fresh! Taste and presentation were also excellent. We had the filet mignon burger, rueben, open faced ham, and pork special. Desserts were "okay". The herb bread they serve is very tasty. Owner and servers were very attentive. Would definitely go there again.

“Good Food, but noisy frenetic establishment with New York prices”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

We dined here with a large party on a very busy Saturday evening. The food is good to very good, but the popularity of this restaurant has let to a sort of arrogance on the part of management. Out of a quite limited number of entrees on the set menu, three were unavailable early in the evening. There were about 10 specials, but annoyingly, the menu listed no prices for these. When I asked the waiter for the prices, he didn't know, and had to run off to get a hand written card. It turned out that the steak special was $37.00! (no wonder the price was not listed).
The waiter agreed that the price should be listed on the menu, but that decision made by the owners. Further the wine choice was quite limited, and ALL bottles were $26.00. (The Malbec was, however, excellent). ALL of the entrees were served piping hot and were good to very good. Given the limited number of fine dining options in the area, management can get away with very high prices--but be prepared!
Finally, perhaps better to come for lunch when the place is a bit quieter, as the frenetic dinner hour on a weekend does not make for a relaxed dining experience.

“You Can See The Pride”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

I went here for lunch with 5 others. We ordered 6 different dishes and they were all very good. Prices were good. My Italian salad was large with lots of fresh ingredients. The burger was large and juicy. The ravioli was large but the 13 yr old teen misunderstood when the waitress said it came with spinach in the middle. She meant there would be a serving of spinach in the middle of the plate not in the ravioli. He liked the ravioli and sauce but skipped the spinach. The fresh grilled tuna salad was very good, I tried a bit,of the tuna - cooked perfect. On and on. The owner was very friendly and acts as the expediter. He stopped by several times to ask if we needed anything. Service is a little slow because everything is cooked to order. Seating next to the counter is a little hectic because all drinks and all payments must be made in that corner. They need to look at their traffic flow and move the register and bartender down the bar closer to the door to free up that corner. I would eat there again.
