For a small hometown museum, the Museum of Culpeper History packs a lot of exhibits in a small space. It is well worth the visit. I took a big city out of towner and he was impressed. So am I.

There is a small entry fee for non-residents. Residents get in free. Donations are accepted and appreciated.

Good collection and a lot to learn from. If you want to know where and how culpeper started, this it the place to start from. It is intresting too, to see how far Culpeper has come.

We stopped in Culpepper (coming from just east of DC) since we'd never been there before, and plan to make the town a trip of it's own in the future. Loved the museum...when you walk into the main galleries view it "left to right" though:)
