My wife and I were very please with the suite. The simple yet elegant decor was inviting and peaceful. The shower alone is worth the stay and we enjoyed having coffee on the balcony. Having old town Culpeper at your finger tips gave us mutiple choices on where to eat and shop. Excellent place

If you need constant attention, then this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for a perfect spot to spend the night that is in the historic district and close to several fabulous restaurants, then look no further. Check-in was smooth and we were shown everything about our room (The Acqua Suite). The dinner suggestion (Foti's) was superb (and only 3 doors down the street). The location couldn't be better. We were able to sit out on the balcony, enjoy a glass of wine and watch as the citizens of Culpeper lit their Christmas Tree, complete with Santa Claus. If you find yourself in Culpeper overnight, this is the place to be.

Hands down, the best place to stay in the Culpeper area. Top quality bedding, sheets and a high end bathroom, shower etc. etc.

The location is great. Within walking distance to all of the best restaurants around. A great experience every time I go. I've stayed here at least 6 times and look forward to returning.

We recently spent the night at the 249 Suites and loved it. It's not a traditional hotel as there really isn't much in the way of staff or reception area but it was perfect for us to come and go. Our Sienna suite was huge with high ceilings, an insanely comfortable pillow top king bed, in room fireplace and massive bathroom and shower. Perfect, especially for the very reasonable $175 price tag.

When we were packing up I ran into one of the guys who worked down the street at the Raven's Nest Coffee Shop and he informed me they will deliver coffee and breakfast to your suite in the morning. A must for our next visit!

Our favorite place to stay when we are in the area! It is very comfortable and there are some great restaurants nearby. The one thing that is a bummer is the coffee shop across the street closed down, so there is not a place close-by to get a cup of coffee.
