The scenery by day - forests and a river. At night - so clear you have no trouble distinguishing the Milky Way. The innkeepers - right there when you needed them to answer any question you have or take care of any request. The food - fantastic. The room - more comfortable than home. King size bed and a jacuzzi - wow!! This B & B is at the top of our list.

Sugar Hollow was absolutely wonderful. Hayden and Dick make you feel very comfortable and wanted our time to be special. The extra comforts they made available made it seem like it was just for me....a must for a successful B&B. It has only been a week and I have recommended Sugar Hollow to at least 5 couples!! You will love this place.

We have visited numerous bed and breakfast inns during our 34 years of marriage, but this one was by far the most beautiful, relaxed, serene and enjoyable one we have encountered.

We spent our 34th anniversary there. The home is huge, the rooms are spacious, clean an homey. The food is wonderful. Biut most of all, the owners are wonderful people and the guests are immediatedly put at ease and feel at home!!

We LOVED IT and we plan to go back soon!

We needed a sanctuary after a whirlwind visti to D.C. and Sugar Hollow Farm was the perfect place. Beautifully appointed and comfortable rooms, lovely surroundings, and excellent breakfasts. Dick and Hayden were wonderful hosts - very friendly and informative with great stories! We highly recommend this inn!

The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm is a fabulous B & B. Dick and Hayden run a confortable, professional, secluded get away that is close enough to wineries and Charlottesville to be convenient, but far enough away from noise and bustle to be truly relaxing. Breakfast was excellent: home cooked omelets, poached pears and english muffins were one morning's fare.

Dick takes special interest in each guest's experience. We talked politics and local history. He shared about the best hiking trails and closest wineries. Our room, the Wildflower, was immaculate and charming. The bathroom's huge tub was a joy. The little box that held safety pins, nail clippers, needle and thread and other items show their attention to detail.

Our last day included at visit to Monticello, my first time there. What an amazing place. What a multi- talented man Jefferson was. The gardens, the clocks, the lay out of the house were all spectacular.

Our evening on the roof top deck under the stars was the clincher. With no local bright lighting, we saw more than anywhere near our home.

We will go back again, and again, and again. We already have plans to go to the Shakespearean play at Barboursville (sp?) Vineyard next August and stay at Sugar Hollow for our sixth anniversary.
