“Great local pizza place.”

Good pizza and helpful waiters. They even took pictures of us when we asked and multiple shots. Great little pizza place with fresh ingredients and a good beer selection.

“Good place to stop for lunch.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2012

Stopped here for lunch while in the area and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was good and arrived quickly. My one issue with this restaurant is that the pizza was a bit more expensive than comparable establishments but this shouldn't stop you from visiting. If you do stop in, be sure that you have cash with you because this restaurant doesn't accept debit/credit cards.

“lacks pizzaz”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2012

This little restaurant could be a gem, but need some more shine. The salads are small for the price and could use a little more toppings. The pizza has a very good crust but also lacking on the toppings. I prefer to have a pizza with cheese that is gooey, our pizza was so skimpy I could not tell it had cheese. We had what was equivalent to a meat lovers but could only make out one type of meat, the sausage. While we were one of three tables in the place we had to finally ask for a refill. Like I said this could be a very good place, but I believe that the lack of choices in Crozet has lead them to become overpriced and lacking of service and quality. Overall I would possibly try it again if I was craving pizza and refused to drive the 20 miles into Charlottesville, but would not eat there or order anything but the pizza. The pizza alone sets you back more than $20

“Great Pizza & Quaint Little Place....”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2012

Heard that the Food Network chose Crozet Pizza as the best pizza in VA....So we had to stop. Got there about 3 PM on a Saturday and it was the perfect time as the small crowd was just coing in . Service was very friendly and prompt. Ordered the "special" pizza in large which was excellent. It is best to order the large as small, medium, and large only have a one dollar difference in price...makes for good leftovers. The pizza was served piping hot and you could relly taste the freshness of the veggie toppings. The house salary at $4.50 was also excellent and very fresh. The cheese was great, hot and melted and stringy which is just the way I think it should be. The crust was excellent, not an extremely thin type like the Neopolitan on the boardwalk in NJ but nevertheless tasty, and very pleasantly textured. I think Pizza is a regional thing in terms of taste so I still have a bias to NJ "tomato pies' on the boards at the Jersey Shore but this was an excellent pizza. It was head and shoulders above what the chains like :Pizza Hut, Dominos, and Papa Johns refer to as pizza. It is a good place to try and a very casual, friendly and fun atmosphere. I would recommend

“Good pizza, not as amazing as the hype would lead you to believe”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2012 via mobile

Good ingredients (sauce is good and pretty unique taste, ingredients tasted fresh), the crust wasnt too special though. Good pizza, a little more than most chains ($21for a large) but with more character......although For as much as it is played up as the best pizza ever, our experience did not live up to that hype.
