This a small historical home turned into an eating place. Basically open for lunch only. 9 - 2 weeks days and 11 - 2 Saturday. The menu has about a dozen sandwich choices with everyone a winner. The have a different specials each day and the desserts are really good. The staff is very friendly and make you feel at home. I always try to eat lunch here when making service calls at the paper mill just down the street.

The food is ok, but the sandwiches are quite small. So don't go with a big appetite. The best dessert is the chocolate mint brownie. Do not choose this restaurant for a catered event as it is extremely expensive.

The building is historical and the atmosphere is relaxing. The interior is decorated in a really nice fitting way for the building. I've had most of the sandwiches and they are all very good. The potato plates are terrific and the veggie potato is my current go to.

While visiting family, we ate lunch at this beautiful old home in Covington, VA. The service is friendly and the food very good. Locals love this place and everyone knows each other, chat among the tables, greet everyone. A small, friendly, place to meet and eat.

A hidden gem, does not look like a normal place to eat, I think it is a converted house. The entrance and parking are in the back. Food was great and I had to try the desert, fabulous!
