Great location.Surprised by the nearby shopping opportunites. Staff was very engaging, the rooms large and comfortable. Restaurant on site and everything appears new and well maintained. Would stay here again. Usually a Marriott person but this Hilton is a wonderful hotel.

Room Tip: ask for a high floor, less traffic noise

Stayed here for 2 nights to visit my brother, who was attending a course out at Ft. Lee. Very easy to find and checking into our room was a breeze and with a smile. She even moved us further down the hall, away from the elevator (I can't stand having a room next to them). The room was very clean and presentable, however, at this particular Hilton, if you get the 2 queen bed room, you don't get that amazing comfortable bed like the King room has. Also, although we had a non-smoking room, it seems that we could smell cigarette smoke up and down the hallway (but not in our room at all thank goodness). The pool and jacuzzi area were kept very nice and clean, with ample towels. The pool is small however, compared to the size of the hotel. Also, I think they were super-chlorinating the pool because my eyes with stinging a little bit. The kids really enjoyed it. Weight room was small, but nicely equipped with modern equipment. We didn't use the business office, but it appeared to be nicely outfitted. Although this hotel is close to everything you would possibly need, it was very quiet and we slept well. There is a huge mall right next door and many other corporate stores up and down the road. You have Panera Bread and Starbucks within walking distance. Easy access to freeway. We bought the breakfast deal with our room and ate there each morning. Exellent food!!! Great service!! The lobby was very comfortable to hang out in. I would definitely stay here again, no problems at all. The only minor negatives would be, parking outside is small and limited, cigarette smell in the hallway, pool to small for size of hotel.

Room Tip: If you are heading north up I-95, and take exit 53, you can't access the hotel from the KMart parking lot, keep driving around the corner. It appears that you can access from KMart, but it's blocked off (unless you have a 4 x 4, you can hop the curb and drive over the the little field and into the hotel parking lot, haha)

Stopped here on our return trip from NJ to FL. The room was clean, the beds comfy. However, the bathroom was very tight and they did not offer a complimentary breakfast. They did offer a buffet for $10.95/pp. NOT!! Most likely wouldn't stay again unless we had no other alternative.

After a reservation glitch soured my first visit to this HGI on 11/5, the property's GM quickly & professionally rectified the matter, making our second stay on 11/15 "glitch-free." Her approach to customer service and friendly staff, the least of which is their vibrant breakfast crew, will have me coming back often on my frequent travels throughout the region. Note to Hilton: You'd do well using their AM restaurant staff as a model for your other properties, whose service frequently resembles a wake vs. awake.

This was a stop overnight on the way to Reedville, VA. Typical Hilton Garden Inn. When we got to our room, the toilet was leaking. We notified the front desk and they had someone up within minutes to fix it. They have their own resturant and bar. We did not eat there, but we did have a couple of glasses of wine. Our bartender was very nice and personable.

There are a lot of resturants and stores (Sam's, Walmart, pharmacies) close by. We ate dinner at a Mexican place which was horrible, but it received rave reviews. I can't remember the name of that resturant, but it was less than a mile from the hotel. We ran next door to Panera's for breakfast which was nice and convenient.

We went to the Walmart the next day to pick up a few items. There were tons of seagulls flying overhead, so many that we ran to the car so as to minimize our chances of being christened by a gull. Turns out there is this huge landfill right behind the Walmart. There was no smell that we could detect, but it was a cold, rainy day when we were there.

Overall, a very good stay.
