This Bed and Breakfast has all the eminities of a hotel but still with the charm of a bed and breakfast. If you are looking for a charming and relaxing place to get away from the hectic pace of the city, this is the place for you. My wife and I stayed there for a night and it was great! Very nice folks that run it with two charming daughters. The owner even gave us a tour of this very historic building! We stayed in the Stonewall Jackson room. Very nice and roomy with a gas fireplace, small jacuzzi and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good. Cooked to order too! The dining room is beautiful with a huge fireplace and a crackling woodfire going. They also have a very comfortbale living room area with HDTV,computer/Internet access or you can just sit and relax by the huge fireplace. A very highly recommended place to stay!

Garland and Sylvia Yoder are truly the best owners of the Buckhorn Inn. We arrived late and the power was out and Garland made sure we got into our room safely. Breakfast was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. It brought back a lot of memories staying there and Garland and Sylvia made sure that we enjoyed every minute. We could not of asked for better hosts and I would defintlily stay there again. Make sure that you book the Stonewall Jackson suite. It has a jacuzzi tub and porch access.

this was our first b&b experience and it was wonderful. we arrived pretty late but our hosts were so accommodating. they all greeted us when we arrived (the kids are so cute!) and made sure we were well taken care of. breakfast was fantastic, especially on a cool, fall day sitting next to a warm fire :). the room was spacious and clean. the in-room fireplace made it so cozy and comforting. we definitely recommend the buckhorn inn!!

Innkeepers Garlan and Sylvia Yoder bent over backwards to accommodate our group. Great location for hiking and visiting Shenandoah Mountains. Comfortable but not fancy, great history, hope to return sometime.
