My 79-year-old mother asked our waitress to inform the chef that she had been eating flounder all of her life, and this was the best she had ever had, bar none. We both ordered flounder, and we both were impressed with the size, freshness, flavor and appearance of our flounder. A lot of restaurants claim to serve flounder, but many pass off any white fish and call it flounder. This was the real deal. The rolls, salad bar, and baked potato were fine, but the flounder was the highlight of the meal. I hope it is the catch of the day the next time I visit Chincoteague!

Doesn't have the location advantage of some others but food is good and reasonably priced. They have a limited salad bar but at least you can have more of a salad than greens, onion, a cucumber slice, and three grape tomotoes served at more expensive restaurants. Oysters were a nice size and were as good as those ordered at Village, although both were bland and neither had the salty taste expected in fresh local oysters. Fried fish was tasty and the portion was good

Once again I traveled to Chincoteague for seafood. Once again the food was excellent and so was the price. Skylar the bartender was exceptional. .....

As this is a seafood restaurant, can't imagine ordering anything else. Very casual, but would recommend reservations, we had to wait but not very long, this was in April which I think is pretty off season. The décor could be a little better, but really there for the food, went back the next night as well and ordered a lot more seafood, including scallops again, broiled. Scallops were excellent, waitress was very friendly. I think the prices were reasonable, don't know if they vary season to season. Sounds stupid, but my boyfriend could not get enough of the croutons, wasn't thrilled with salad bar, but raved about croutons. He had oysters, clams, and shrimp, but think our favorite was the scallops. Wishing I had some right now from Don's.

Nearly rivals real New England clam chowder, great taste and with clams and chopped potatoes like I remember as a kid. Great taste, thanks!
