My 79-year-old mother asked our waitress to inform the chef that she had been eating flounder all of her life, and this was the best she had ever had, bar none. We both ordered flounder, and we both were impressed with the size, freshness, flavor and appearance of our flounder. A lot of restaurants claim to serve flounder, but many pass off any white fish and call it flounder. This was the real deal. The rolls, salad bar, and baked potato were fine, but the flounder was the highlight of the meal. I hope it is the catch of the day the next time I visit Chincoteague!
