The steamed & broiled seafood platters are amazing. Very casual atmosphere, so you can feel free to get messy with the fresh crab, oysters, clams, shrimp, butter & lemon!

This is a delightful place to have lunch, you can sit indoors or outdoors on their picnic tables. A very diverse menu and if you are in the mood for their homemade soup you will not be disappointed.
If room is left, try their dessert menu.

“They do know a flounder here!”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

I read the past several reviews before posting mine, and I am sure some people had a worse experience than my husband and I did. The atmosphere is quite bland, but we were both well-pleased with our flounder plates. My husband had his broiled, and I had mine fried. The flounder was huge, not the thin, tiny whitefish that many seafood places pass off as flounder. It may have not been as seasoned as some people would like, but my husband doesn't like seasoning all over his food; he was happy with a bit of lemon. There is a bar upstairs, which led to a lot of noisy table legs being dragged over our heads, so if you are looking for quiet and romantic, this is not a good place for you. While not cheap, it is not as expensive as some other places in town.

“OK, but not great.”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

The steak my wife had was pretty good, but the blackened drum I had wasn't to great. It would have helped if the sides had been better (cooked apples were bland, etc.). For the price, we expected a bit better food. The service and atmosphere were average.

“Just ok!”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

Not a bad restaurant but there are better choices on the island if your'e there for a day or two. The fish was so-so and the crab cakes was decent. Green beans seemed like canned. Service was good. Decor ok.
