At the Channel Bass Inn you feel as if you have entered one of those Brit films of the 50's,set in a seaside hotel. Well appointed and roomy bedrooms with sitting areas,on the upper two floors. Large and well furnished sitting rooms on the first floor, and an ample breakfast room. Barbara's breakfasts change daily, be prepared assome are a bit spicy,but the sideboard is ample for all, and with a full house be prepared to spend an hour at the table in conversation. Take a good book as no TV in the rooms. The front great room has the only TV which forces you to meet and talk remember those days.
My Companion is 71 & I am 65 so
Pack lite as 4 rooms are on 3rd floor &4 are on the second. Stairs are narrow with only one side rail. No dumb waiter to carry luggage .
Only enterance is front door with two steps and no railing
