“Great food for great prices!”
Reviewed June 17, 2014 via mobile

They have a huge menu to choose from! Staff are very welcoming and friendly. I got smoked salmon egg and Brie panini for breakfast. It was delicious! It came with a fruit salad which had fresh fruit. I also had a few bites of the cheddar cheese grits, also delicious. The prices are not bad at all. Would definitely come back.

“Great food, friendly staff”
Reviewed June 12, 2014

We were hesitant to dine here based on other negative reviews. Don't let them influence your decision to not eat here. Our waitress was friendly and seated us and took our drink orders right away. They were brought to us promptly. The menu has many selections. We asked her for a few more minutes to decide what to order. There was not a long wait for our breakfast. It came out hot and looked delicious. The looks we're not deceiving. The food tasted great. We overheard a table near us who had just finished eating say that they found a new favorite breakfast place on the island. The waitress checked on us a few times and kept our coffee filled during our meal. We asked to see a lunch menu. We will definitely be trying lunch there. The only downside to this restaurant is that they are only a breakfast and lunch establishment closing at 1:30pm. When on vacation, we tend to eat a late breakfast so most likely we would not be ready for lunch by then.

Our waitress said the food was all homemade, fresh daily. The desserts looked awesome. Lunch specials include soup and your choice of dessert. Today's special was herbed chicken with 2 sides, soup and dessert for a little under $8. Not sure that any other place on the island offers good food at a price like that. The restaurant was clean and bright. Definitely perfect for a family meal.

Ignore the negative reviews. The current owners are on their 3rd year of ownership. If you had a bad experience in the past, give them another try. I am sure that over time they have gotten better. We will definitely be back. I wish we had eaten there sooner on our vacation. I am sure we would have returned several times.

“Great family restaurant”
Reviewed June 8, 2014

We also enjoy breakfast at Mr. Paul's whenever we go to Chincoteague. The food is plentiful and good, but perhaps even more importantly the people are great. Its rare to find a place where people seem to genuinely care about other people, and this is one of those places. We've not tried lunch or dinner yet because we are usually out at the beach, but often stop for breakfast on our way out and have never been disappointed.

This is a good value for any visitor, and very family friendly. For anyone new to Chincoteague, I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

“Great Breakfast Food”
Reviewed June 5, 2014

Mr Paul's is our go-to restaurant for breakfast or brunch. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is great. I love the home fries - onion and rosemary flavored. My chip beef on toast was like my Mom's. The sausage is tasty.

The service is always friendly and professional.

We love to bring our out of town family here because we know they will go away happy.

Good job, folks!

“Great breakfast”
Reviewed June 1, 2014 via mobile

We visit chincoteague often and Mr Paul's is now our go-to restaurant for breakfast. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is great. We love to bring our friends because we know they will go away happy. Our meals are consistently out within 10 minutes. Give them a try I don't think you will be disappointed.
