Description: Sea Star Cafe Gourmet Carry Out is locally owned and operated! We opened on Main Street in 2000 and moved to our new location on Maddox Blvd. in 2013. Serving gourmet sandwiches, fresh salads, vegetarian & vegan fare as well as homemade soups, sides and baked goods. All of our food is MADE FRESH to ORDER by the 2 OWNERS..... everyday all the time! Our soups, sauces, hummus, baked goods etc. are made by us right here! We intended Sea Star to be carryout but do have some outdoor seating limited to 3 picnic tables. Check us out! CALL FOR HOURS!

This place was recommended to me by the owner of Jus Bikes. I wanted to pick up something to take back to the house for lunch. There was a bit of a wait but well worth it. The sandwiches were delicious.

Nice gourmet carry out sandwich and more cafe. They were a bit busy so we had to wait a bit for our order. They have a few picnic tables and benches outside (there is no inside) to sit at while waiting. I ordered a Northerners sandwich- hard salami, honey turkey and black fore ssateagye t ham with provolone cheese, romaine lettuce, tomato and a herb vinegerette on sourdough bread for only $6.95! Very good and the best bread ever!!!

Finally got around to trying the Sea Star after promising ourselves every year. Drove past several times before stopping because it always seemed to be packed! Finally stopped during an off hour and had a couple of the tastiest wraps ever! It took awhile to get our order, but it was well worth it. All ingredients are fresh and the wraps are huge! There are tables set up overlooking a pretty lake - we wish we could have stayed but we were bringing back sandwiches for a hungry crew back at the rental. Next year we will definitely stop more than once!

After filling up for days on delicious BBQ and seafood, I needed a big healthy salad. What we got was a delicious and filling chef salad, amazing mushroom and Brie bisque, chicken pesto wraps and a blondie that was soooo yummy! It's the only place like this (that I'm aware of) on the island. Lots of sandwiches and vegan offerings as well. Definitely going back.
