Owner description: Join us on a beautiful nature cruise tour of the Assateague National Wildlife Refuge, Chincoteague Bay and the surrounding area. See it all from Chincoteague's Premier Tour Boat the "Linda J" as we cruise the lagoons, coves & backwaters of one of the last unspoiled areas on the east coast. On our cruise it is common to see the famous Chincoteague Wild Ponies grazing in the marsh, , Dolphin cruising & playing in the channels, Sea Turtles, some of the 300 plus species of Wildfowl including Bald Eagles, This is not just another boat ride. You will have a friendly Mate to explain and point out the sites along your cruise. You can also rely on the mate to spot the wildfowl, ponies dolphin & other unusual sea creature that pops it's head up.

Myself and 4 friends went for a sunset cruise with Assateague Adventures. It was amazing! The captain and first mate were very informative and we saw an eagle and 4 ospreys while on the water! They went slowly around and didn't rush anything. We were given a lot of background on the island and it's highlights. We were able to see all we did because Capt Jerry cared that we had the best experience ever. We were allowed to bring food and beverages on the boat as well. I would highly recommmend!!

Glad we took the Cruise with Assateague Adventure. It was a great experience. We got to see the Island ponies up close and learn alot about their history. We also learned alot about the Islands, about clam farming, the area water fowl, ect. It was very enjoyable, if you are leary of boats this trip is one I think you would like. It sure beats riding around in a car trying to see the Island. Thanks for a great cruise Capt. Jay and Joe.

Captain Jay took us out even though it was just the three of us. They were very, very friendly and we even got to see some ponies. We had a baby with us and they were very accommodating. Would recommend this to anyone!

Had a lovely time on our trip. Hadn't seen many ponies until this boat trip. Then we saw a whole band. Beautiful! Joe was very knowledgeable of the area and had photos to prove it. Jay let me drive the boat! The oyster farm was very interesting, too.

My boyfriend and I went on a trip with Captain Jay and Owner and Tour Guide Joe on Sunday May 6. We were the only passengers on the boat. Joe made every effort to assure our safety, and is a wealth of information about the history of the island. Jay was very informative about the regional wildlife. He was even able to predict the behavior of a particular osprey so we could get wonderful footage of her launching into flight. We saw three different herds of ponies on the beach, and a clam farm. These gentlemen have a wonderful comic energy- Joe is an enthusiastic transplant from New Jersey who loves to talk. Jay is a man of few words, but has a wry wit that easily counterbalances Joe's enthusiasm. The tour never seems scripted or slick, but has all of the rugged individualism, warmth, and respect for nature I associate with a trip to Chincoteague.
