We had a great time on the cruise with Captain Charlie. He is a great resource of local knowledge and history of the area and very experienced waterman. It was so good, I am looking forward to going back to Chincoteague for one of his cruises!

“Great family adventure !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 25, 2012

Our family did a two hour cruise with Captain Charlie Birch and we all LOVED it !!! Captain Charlie is a real local who knows so much local history and about raising oyster and such. WE got great views of the ponies. The boat was very comfortable with extra binoculars for everyone in our party as there are bald eagles in the area and other rare birds. Over all a great family adventures we will do again.

We had a great time on our cruise. Captain Charlie was great. We were on the cruise with another couple-they had some physical impairments. Captain Charlie made sure they were comfortable. We all enjoyed the trip. Thank you Captain Charlie Burch!

My husband and I booked the 3:30 cruise. Capt. Charlie's wife called to see if we could come at 3. We got there and found him coming in from a tour that had just saw a herd of horses. So he sped us to the spot and fortunately they were still there. He held the boat there while we got alot of pictures and then when he radioed to another tour boat about them, found out they were looking at a bald eagle, so he took us over to see it. While taking pictures another one flew unto another tree, was so exciting. The tours only take 6 people which is nice since you don't have to try to manuever around a bunch of people trying to get the perfect shot. After he showed us around and told us many interesting stories and facts about the island he went back to where the horses where and we got to see the ponies in the herd playing. I would def go on this trip again!!!!
