“Safe recreation with no traffic.”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

As an avid cyclist this is a weekly destination; people walk, run, and bike on a paved roadway 8.5 with a beautiful treed canopy blocking the mid-day sun. Watch out for snakes soaking up the heat from the pavement!

“Great for families and biking enthusiasts”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

A long, long stretch of biking path that hugs a lazy canal. You'll see turtles, snakes, maybe some four-footed mammals, all kinds of scat, an occasional boat, and a few other bicyclists. You will never have to worry about cars coming up behind you because there aren't any; motor vehicles not allowed. There are occasional places to stop and rest. An ideal bike ride with a loved one on a weekend morning or afternoon.

“Great exercise”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

We ride the trail every Wednesday morning. We see walkers, runners, inline skaters and various other contraptions for exercise used on the trail. In the summer if you are real quiet you might even see a bear. Black snakes are plentiful and so are butterflies and various bugs.

“Paved, shady road good for biking or jogging”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

If you plan on walking then this trail will be a little boring. I take my bike out there from time to time for some excercise but there's not really much to look at. Most of it is well shaded and it runs along a small canal. There are a few spots with a bench near the water. It's no joke though watch out for bears. I've personally never seen one but they are quite common out there.
