I stayed simply for a night of rest and relaxation. Check-in was uneventful. Upon entering, I noticed that the soiled, spotted carpet was coming up in some places. There was a small hole in the wall right beside the bed which made me terribly uncomfortable, paranoid, and suspicious. I plugged it with a piece of tissue. One of the three pillow cases was soiled and spotted. The wall paper was worn and yellowed; as well, the furniture was dirty and dingy. Many of the table surfaces were tacky to the touch, especially the remote control. YUCK!! The small refrigerator in the room was very noisy. Trying to be optimistic, I will say that the heating/cooling unit was quiet and efficient. It looked like the newest item in the room. Also, there is a Kentucky Fried Chicken and a 7-11 right next door. Speaking of which, I did not eat breakfast there, so I cannot comment. Although I did not see any evidence of prostitution or any other illegal activities, it seems like a place where locals might frequent. You kind of get what you pay for. If you are looking for someplace to lay your head for a night, it might work for you, but if you are looking for cleanliness, keep looking.
