Orzo has changed the menu a bit, but the food is still above other restaurants' food. The price is, too, but it's worth it. Saturday lunch is always a delight. The staff had changed over and was lacking in promptness, but the wait staff has again changed and now measures up to the quality expected for this price point.

Their burgers are very tasty and from local farms. The salads are great and the prosciutto bruschetta is the best!

Visiting Charlottesville for the first time, we Read lots of restaurant reviews, and finally decided to simply take a walk and stop at the restaurant that seemed most intriguing. We emded up at Orzo, Which turned out to be a wonderful choice, as it delivered really great flavor combinations. We had the Bolognase and pork roast Entrées, which were simply amazing. The restaurant interior is a funky and fun, and boasts artwork that is sure to grab your attention… That is when you're not enamored with the delicious food that you are enjoying. I would definitely recommend trying Orzo.

My husband and I are "regulars" at Orzo. We keep coming back for the food, which is reasonably priced, creative and based on seasonal themes. Their grilled haloumi is not to be missed. Orzo also has the best list of wine by the glass in the area, and again prices are reasonable. Finally, the staff is to be commended for their warmth, attentiveness and hard work to make sure every customer has a great experience. Highly recommended.

We go regularly for Lunch with friends. Great place for girls to have a glass of wine and a good meal. Fresh ingredients creative menu good service. It can be crowded as the space is small, the tables are a bit too close together but that is the only thing that I would improve.

Went with large party Sat. evening. Menu looked great but my wife's clams and pasta was fair, and the clams were almost the size of peas! We were seated in a back room (had been warned about this,) which was moderately noisy and had an industrial feel to it. Cod fish was very bland and expensive. One can do better in Charlottesvillle, and with a amore reasonable final tab.
