We spent the weekend at Rooster Hill and thoroughly enjoyed this bed and breakfast. Larry was very helpful with ideas for hiking, excursions and dinner. He left several local papers so we could see what was going on in the area. The room was great with a private entrance, sitting area, comfortable bedding, stocked kitchenette and cute bathroom. The first night, the hosts left us homemade bread, jam, milk, eggs and OJ. The kitchen had cereal, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate available. The cookie jar was also a treat. Larry showed us his chickens and where we could get eggs. He was very accommodating; however we didn't realize that breakfast items would not be replenished- I am sure he would have been glad to do this, so just ask if you need anything extra. Luckily we were able to find one egg to add to our 3 left from the previous day to make an omelet the second morning. Also, there is a market close by, so if you want extras in your eggs/omelet, I would recommend stopping there the night before.
Overall we had a wonderful stay and hope to return again. Thanks Larry!More
