We really weren't sure what to expect after reading the mixed reviews for this restaurant. We went here on a Sunday evening after wasting $20 at the theatre next door. Very pleasantly surprised. The interior was very tastefully decorated. We were seated immediately (It was about 6 PM) and our server showed up quickly to take our drink order and we asked for his recommendations (I believe his name was Adam). Upon his advice, I ordered the Pasta Mia Nona and my wife had the Chicken Florio Marsala. Both dishes turned out to be excellent choices full of flavor and large enough that we took leftovers home. We did order the cheesecake to eat and the Creme Brulee to take home. Both desserts were again excellent. We were glad that we at least tried Travinia. It was definitely worth it and we will return. They did have the firepits burning outside, but with 20 degree weather, no one was brave enough to be out there.
