“Intimate and enjoyable little museum of Aboriginal Art of Australia”
Reviewed March 15, 2012

I went once with a friend and we very enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and impressive collection so much we returned for their monthly lunch tour.

The docent tour of about an hour carefully explained various aspects of the art and was followed by lunch around a large table. We had the option to pre-order a box lunch (veggie option available) or bring our own. A very pleasant experience.

“Fabulous collection of Australian Aboriginal art. A must see for artists.”
Reviewed February 17, 2012

This museum is small, easily accessible and fascinating. It is the only museum in the USA dedicated to Australian Aboriginal art. It is a must for any artist and also for anyone interested in Australia and Aboriginal culture. I like it because it's not too overwhelming and each painting has an explanation. I also appreciated the video the day I visited which was an interview of the artist whose work was on display. Also the staff are discreetly around if you have questions. Some posters, prints, paintings are for sale.
