Description: The restaurant is located in a building constructed in the mid-1800's. The building won the "Historic Preservation Award" in 2004. The windows contain glass from the original building. The floors are made of distressed pine recovered from Virginia barns and buildings. Also indoors you will find a delightful horseshoe shaped Copper Topped Bar, walls covered in brick and wormed-chestnut, stained glass partitions from the original building as well as a romantic fireplace, wooden tables and restored pine benches and chairs. We display art from local artisans for your enjoyment and our decor includes many original Fellini movie posters throughout the bar and restaurant. The atmosphere at Fellini's is casual elegance - delicious meals, cozy atmosphere and romantic melodies from the piano in the bar. We have many Italian wines as well as a variety from Virginia and around the world. We have beers on tap and "Fellini's" cocktails. Be sure to include Fellini's in your plans - before or after an event at the Paramount, a relaxing dinner after a beautiful hike at Monticello or for a romantic interlude to your hectic schedule.

In to hear John D'earth et al. last night 12/4/10. John was popping and playing very strong. Very inventive (e.g. out chorus on
autum leaves) and wonderfully masterful on his instrument.

What a great rhythm section! Pete Sparr rock solid as always. Bob Hallahan's playing with lots of confidence and stretching out. In particular, I wan...t to mention, the young man on drums whose name eludes me. He is an amazing talent and he just blew me away!!!!!!

This quartet is a jazz oasis in what is otherwise a sparse landscape at best!!!!

Wonderful place with live music (piano the evening we were there). Owner is delightful. Great food, warm and comfortable atmosphere, and delicious dessert. On one if the "side streets" in the Downtown Charlottesville Outdoor Mall but definitely worth strolling off the main drag!

While traveling in Charlottesville, we were searching for a family style Italian restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food was fantastic and the service was very pleasant without being obtrusive. All the pasta dishes were offered in half portions that were just perfect because we all saved room for dessert. I strongly recommend the desserts. We were told they are all made by the owners, and we had delicious tiramisu and cannolis. We hope we can get back there some day soon.

With all the choices we had to have dinner in C'Ville, this restaurant was superb. We had a great evening starting out with their clam chowder (not just one or two clams); freshly baked bread; and a nice local VA wine. Plenty of time between couses to take in the restaurant and quiet conversation. Green salad was just the right size. My main entree of spaghetti and meatballs filled a large bowl. The meatballs had great flavor and taste. Their salmon with garlic sauce and green beans was prepared with perfection.
We were not rushed to finish our meal or to move on to dessert. Lisa (our waitress) was very pleasant and offered suggestions on the area. We had a nice conversation and enjoyed the time she spent at our table. Thanks Lisa.
Dessert... wow. Canoli ingredients made from scratch were not the heavy, thick cheeses but light and fluffy. Piano music was nice to hear during dinner. He took a break so it was not constant music during the entire evening.
We will return and look forward to our next visit.

Thanks Charity, you are one of the best waitress we encounter in Charlottesville. We were there on Sunday night and the Egg Plant was awasome. The wine we got was very good and my love Sandy love the Bow Tie pasta. If anyone is looking for good authenic itatlian food then go to Fellni's.
