Description: The restaurant is located in a building constructed in the mid-1800's. The building won the "Historic Preservation Award" in 2004. The windows contain glass from the original building. The floors are made of distressed pine recovered from Virginia barns and buildings. Also indoors you will find a delightful horseshoe shaped Copper Topped Bar, walls covered in brick and wormed-chestnut, stained glass partitions from the original building as well as a romantic fireplace, wooden tables and restored pine benches and chairs. We display art from local artisans for your enjoyment and our decor includes many original Fellini movie posters throughout the bar and restaurant. The atmosphere at Fellini's is casual elegance - delicious meals, cozy atmosphere and romantic melodies from the piano in the bar. We have many Italian wines as well as a variety from Virginia and around the world. We have beers on tap and "Fellini's" cocktails. Be sure to include Fellini's in your plans - before or after an event at the Paramount, a relaxing dinner after a beautiful hike at Monticello or for a romantic interlude to your hectic schedule.

Being a vegetarian family restaurants are a constant challenge and I think we have met our biggest one to date.

Upon a recommendation from the Omni staff we gave this restaurant a try. We have two young boys and they each ordered the kids pasta. Which was standard and at a reasonable price, $5.95.

My wife had the vegetarian pot pie, which was good and priced around $15. I ordered the pasta marinara for $14.95 I was broght 8 oz of pasta and that's it. My son's meals were about 7 oz. No side vegetable just a little pasta is a LARGE bowl.

We asked the waitress about the portion size and she told us 8 oz of pasta is what they serve. I pay $1.25-$1.75 for 16 oz. They charge $15 for a meal that has a food cost of maybe $2.50.

The service was friendly, that is until we questioned the portion size.

The beer was flat and the wine is overpriced.

The next morning we went to Bodo's Bagels and spent $2 on a bagel that is probably better than any item on the menu at Fellini's.

I expect more from a restaurant especially one in Downtown C-ville.

We stopped in Fellini's #9 in the late afternoon for a drink and to take in the Jazz group that was playing there. We took a seat at a bar table, ordered some calamari and wine and chilled out. The waitress was so attentive and friendly, the calamari so excellent and the prices so reasonable that we decided to stay for dinner. We were not disappointed. Very good food, very reasonable, good atmosphere with a fireplace in the dining room, and super service. We tried to go back later in our visit but by dinner time on the weekend people were hanging out the door - so get there early.
