With friends and family we met on the mall for lunch and specific shopping: books and craft items.
Even though we were there a day after a big snow storm accompanied by power outages, the mall was largely in operation. Henry's accommodated a table for eight with two children. Food was good, but the service and hospitality exceptional. The antiquarian book store had a first edition of The catcher in the Rye and a shop had exceptionally well designed ties. The aura of the outdoor mall was that of a place where people were happy to be about.
