A great lunch spot while enjoying route 5 by car or bike. We stopped here on our way to Shirley plantation. The service was friendly and the homemade bread by Viv is a must! I enjoyed the sandwiches!

We stopped here on our way between Richmond and Williamsburg. Lunch was great! I had the salad with chicken, strawberries, cucumbers etc. For dessert we shared a bread pudding with rum sauce. It was so good. Moist, not dry like so many bread puddings. The atmosphere was sort of old country store.

Culs Courthouse Grille is a very nice, quaint, casual restaurant . Perfect stop while biking the Virginia Capital Bike Trail. The food, and service are excellent. They serve good local beer also. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Good food prepared consistently time and time again. We come here often and frequently bring family and friends to spread the local word. Our favorites here include: butter bean hummus, oysters, emskee burger, fried chicken (offered on weekly specials), black bean burger, onion rings and courthouse convict. Try one of their fresh homemade handmade desserts and if you are too full, order a sweet to go. Check out their weekly calendar, as they offer local music and game nights. Great for families, business luncheons and more.

Enjoyed a draft beer after riding the Virginia Capital Trail. It was previously a general store renovated to a friendly pub.
