Best happy hour in the state. Food is average to good. Certainly a great place to hang out.

“This is a bar that serves food”
Reviewed December 23, 2011

Came here because the restaurant recently advertised in the Westfield High School Choral Program and offered a 25% discount on food. We brought our 3 teenage kids. This is a bar with a restaurant. There was a lively patio happy hour going on when we got there. There are half a dozen tables away from the bar which we were sat at. However, by 7:00 p.m. they started playing poker at the table next to us. Not the best atmosphere to take a family and this was a Tuesday night.

With that being said -- we did think the food was pretty good but it is not Southwestern Mexican or Tex-Mex that I am accustomed too. Who ever heard of BBQ port fajitas or enchiladas? But I heard the fajitas were tasty. I got the cheese enchiladas and they were surprisingly very good and the ranchero sauce was also good. The rice was too tomato based and not the typical Mexican rice. One daughter loved the onion rings although they look like they are frozen. The chips and salsa were yummy. I was disappointed in the frozen margarita, especially being a Tequila Bar. And our server was a bit slow and had to be reminded to refill out water glasses. I might go here again for an adult evening since the food was pretty good and the best Mexican I have found in Virginia so far. But definitely not the right atmosphere for the kids.

Came here after the reviews on tripadvisor and I must say I second the reviews.
Very good happy hours prices and very filling Mexican food. An Idea is to share a meal.
Grey place in Centreville.

“Dive bar with the best happy hour in the metro area”
Reviewed July 14, 2011

There are two reasons to come here. One is the awesome happy hour that runs from 3 to 8 pm with $1.25 draft beers, $2 margaritas and cheap nachos and wings. You can toss back plenty of cold ones and still walk out with change from your $20 bill.
The other reason to go is the expansive tequila list.
Food is typical cheap Mexican. Not bad, not great.
You can also order food from the Italian place next door as they share a kitchen.

“Pleasant Surprise”
Reviewed May 30, 2011

Reading some of the other reviews here caused no small amount of apprehension about dining at this establishment. Tucked out of the way in the back corner of a shopping center, the exterior is admittedly plain, but the interior is clean, neat, and low-key. While we were there for lunch, not happy hour or dinner, we found our server to be pleasant, attentive, and extremely accommodating. I had the red rock fish tacos and my companion had the scallop and crab enchilada. Both dishes were nicely prepared and presented and of substantial size. Not expecting much based on others' comments, we were quite pleasantly surprised with our overall dining experience. We would definitely dine here again. By the way, the margaritas were exceptional...
