This was my first visit to this popular restaurant in 35 years if living here. I always worried that I wouldn't know how to order & eat their raw oysters or the sushi bar. I should have visited years ago!
The place has the appearance of a dive inside, but a comfortable place to hang out. No white table cloths. I can imagine that it's rather noisy when full.
They have a full menu of seafoods, steaks and sushi, all prepared In house and fresh.
My wife enjoyed giant sea scallops ($23) while I had shrimp and grits($20). A small loaf of bread is served while your dinner is prepared.
Both dishes were delicious and too large! We came away comfortably full.
Our waitress was Elizabeth who gave friendly, prompt and knowledgeable service.
Tab for our meals, a beer and gin &tonic came to $51. Kind of stiff for a casual meal for two, but it was delicious!
