The staff at Veramar is knowledgeable and very friendly. This winery has a nice selection of wines. Great view from the patio.

A friend and I recently toured several wineries while staying at a local B&B in the area and Veramar was one of them. The landscape and the patio were absolutely gorgeous and well worth the visit to this winery. My friend and I were the only two there on that day tasting wine and the woman doing the tasting rushed us through. We were in and out in 10 minutes and I felt that although she was very knowledgable on the wines that she should have given us some time and allowed us to take our time.

My wife and I are big fans of visiting wineries. Veramar was one of two we visited recently while staying in a B & B near Berryville, VA. The quality of the wines was good, but the setting and patio area are what sets the winery apart from many other VA wineries. The next time were in the area, we would definitely plan to visit Veramar again.
