Our host at our B&B recommended Liberty Station and we went without a reservation at 7:00 on a Friday night. We were told there would be a 15 minute wait by one of the hostesses. It was much closer to 5 minutes when were seated. The hostess who sat us asked us for what we would like to drink and brought our drinks promptly. We had been on the road most of the day and were not ravenous. I ordered the spinach-artichoke heart dip with tortilla chips and a side Caesar salad. My wife had the house salad. The one downside for me was the excess of mozzarella cheese melted on top of the dip. The tortilla chips were excellent and not overly thick or salty (perfect). The restaurant had obviously found out about how impossible it was to use the thin chips to dip through the mozzarella and provided a tablespoon to ladle the dip on the chips. It was excellent with the exception of too much cheese. The side Caesar salad was very good. My wife's salad was very good. She had asked for a vinaigrette dressing instead of the creamy dressing that came with the salad. Our waitress was surprised we didn't want the creamy dressing, a theme for the night. A steaming pot of three breads arrived and looked wonderful. Unfortunately, they were all sweet, not our taste in breads. Again a surprise to our waitress. My wife then had the peach cobbler for dessert. She asked for a small amount of vanilla ice cream on top. Another surprise. The cobbler was excellent. We really enjoyed our waitress, her sister who was one of the hostesses, and waved to her parents when we asked her if the people she had sat down with were the owners and they got a laugh. All in all a very good meal and night. Go, you will enjoy yourself!
