I'm not very picky or a big complainer, but this place was ridiculous! Checked in unloaded my luggage and key card didn't work. Went back to office and they assigned me another room. I realize it's only a Queen instead of a King that was reserved but I wasn't going back this time. Room a little musty and dingy but microwave and frig worked (frig got cool, not cold, but who's counting?). Noticed that toilet ran. Not a problem until I tried to sleep. Day 2, told front desk of problem, and that I had reserved a King. Only had a smoking King available. Figured it would smell better than the mildewy smell. Didn't have a problem in this room until I realized that laptop couldn't receive inet signal. Office said this room was too far away. THEN, I started seeing bugs. Scary bugs. I'd kill one, only to have it replaced by more. In all I killed 4 at least that night by various methods. Told manager and he came up the next day and sucked up another 4 in his shop vac because he said spray was ineffective and hazardous to guests. I told him that I didn't see bugs in the previolus room. Supposedly no more Kings left on a Monday. I killed another 5-7? Lost count. Turns out they were stink bugs. An ugly armored dangerous looking bug , apparently harmless. Stayed at and liked other Days Inn in the past and this was the worst of any hotel that I've stayed at. Would not recommend. I usually don't review but I felt compelled due to the extreme circumstances. They did try to charge me for a King the first night even though I was switched to a Queen prob because it was a corporate account and they figured I wouldn't notice. I did call and notify my company of the overcharge. Days Inn corp wrote and said they would credit the difference if we send in cc info. Told my company to never send anyone there again, ever. I'd sleep in my car first.
