Owner description: The Path of Life Garden is a crafted landscape open to the public in Windsor, Vermont. Visitors experience the story of the great circle of life while traveling through sculptures of varying sizes and materials. Inspired by a famous garden in Europe, these eighteen works of art symbolize the journey from birth to death and beyond. Since its conception in 1997, the garden has grown on its own path, providing space for recreation, relaxation, contemplation and realization; making it a great destination for families looking for fun things to do around Quechee, Woodstock, and Hanover. The path is also home to some of a 5+ mile trail network, groomed in the winter for dogsledding, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. The garden is located in a 14-acre of field of trails, wildflowers and open spaces on the banks of the Connecticut River. It is enjoyed by people of all ages and was recently featured in Vermont Life and Pastoral Magazine.

The Harpoon Brewery was somewhat a disappointment but right next door we found this unexpected gem. How to describe - Zenish, yes, but very thought provoking and just different.
Also, very peaceful. Be sure to do the maze.

We took a self-guided kayak trip with Great River Outfitters on our last trip to Windsor VT. Craig and his staff were very welcoming when we arrived and eager to share information about the river, area, and his facilities. The van trip to the put in site was short and the river is calm and good for all ages and skill levels. All equipment was well maintained. The surprise of the trip is when we arrived at the end point you get to walk through the Path of Life. This is a unique “garden” full of sculptures that represent your journey through life from birth to death. It was very peaceful and interesting, so even if you don’t take a river excursion, you should stop by and tour the Path of Life.

We found this gem while visiting the Harpoon Brewery on our latest visit. This is an amazing, peaceful park/sanctuary. The path winding through the journey of the mind and soul, the garden has amazing art in all different forms.

The labyrinth of hedges is worth the trip in itself, it took us probably 30 minutes to finish and it was certainly challenging but peaceful nonetheless.

Wandered in and fell in love. My son and his friend were somewhat skeptical about the garden but we had a blast. Super fun maze which leads to a sculpture garden. Well, my son's best friend lost both his dad and older brother this year which was kind of why he was along with us for the trip. While our garden tour started as a joke to follow the maze, I truly believe watching these boys walk through was something special. When he reached the sorrow, he claimed, thats my spot and walked towards it. My son, yells " no sorrow without me along" and joined him. These tow kids blew my mind. Then on to the forgiveness where they tasted sweet forgiveness (berries). Just an unexpected treasure for two stubborn teens and a mom who was lucky enough to be with them. AND they have awesome musical frogs too!

Depicting the journey of a soul through a human life time, via very cool natural sculptures and diplays, this takes one through a lovely walk. Many a great pic opportunity as well as areas for reflection and contemplation. Families or adults.....great place. And be sure to visit Simon Pearce glass blowing manufacturing AND Harpoon Brewery, right next door! A full day of fun and adventure between all attractions in one spot
