Owner description: The Path of Life Garden is a crafted landscape open to the public in Windsor, Vermont. Visitors experience the story of the great circle of life while traveling through sculptures of varying sizes and materials. Inspired by a famous garden in Europe, these eighteen works of art symbolize the journey from birth to death and beyond. Since its conception in 1997, the garden has grown on its own path, providing space for recreation, relaxation, contemplation and realization; making it a great destination for families looking for fun things to do around Quechee, Woodstock, and Hanover. The path is also home to some of a 5+ mile trail network, groomed in the winter for dogsledding, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. The garden is located in a 14-acre of field of trails, wildflowers and open spaces on the banks of the Connecticut River. It is enjoyed by people of all ages and was recently featured in Vermont Life and Pastoral Magazine.

A big garden space that takes you through to different phases of life. There's a shrub maze and cool sculptures, tee-pees too. There's also a trail down to the CT river. Watch out for poison ivy, especially near the end of life (so-to-speak).

Whether you are looking for a spiritual experience, outdoor sculpture installations, gardens, a place to meditate or just a unique place to explore, you'll love the Path of Life Garden. Be sure to visit. Plan for at least an hour and visit the store.

It's a shame that some people have given negative reviews due to their lack of conciousness but you'll have that. Hopefully the experience opens them and helps them to learn to be comfortable with their spirituality.

This is also a great location for artists to visit. I took many photos which will be used as models for upcoming drawings.

We have stopped at the Path of Life twice now while traveling through VT. A unique sculpture garden that takes you through life from birth to death -- and rebirth -- it is more than worth the $5 fee. Whether you spend time reflecting and taking it all in (our 1st visit) or simply walk the beautiful grounds next to the CT river (our 2nd visit), it is definitely worth the detour. And, you can even grab lunch at the Harpoon brewery and a maple soft serve before getting back on the road.

This big sculpture garden in a field in Windsor is $5 well worth it. It's slightly cheesy and new agey, but lots of fun anyway. It follows the "path of life" a the name implies from entering through a tunnel (birth, natch), and then following a path around the xx acre park with various stages of life from xx to xx to rebirth, and back through the tunnel to xxx.

Highlights are a fun hedgrow maze, some lovely simple sculptures, a forest glade with a big hammock to get out of the heat, and listen to the bubbling brook, a row of blueberry and raspberry bushes you are free to pick and eat, and a glade of beach trees

A point off for not having a working website to get information on it!

Walk the path of life from birth to death, artisically arranged. Close by the Simon Pearce Glass blowing, and Harpoon Brewery.
