“Quite the site”
Reviewed June 28, 2012

While staying at the Snapdragon Inn in Windsor, VT we made this our first stop. We search out covered bridges during any of our excursions and hearing that the Cornish-Windsor Bridge was the longest in the country, we definitely had to stop. This is worth seeing. Two lanes so different but there are areas to safely stop and take pictures. Pictures came out awesome. Highly recommend.

“Almost the longest covered bridge in the country”
Reviewed May 27, 2012

This is a very historic bridge crossing the Conneticut River between Vermont and New Hampshire. Most covered bridges are one lane only so this one is two lanes. It was the longest covered bridge in the country until one very recently was built a bit longer. Every spring when the ice breaks up in the Ct River folks worry that the bridge might be damaged.

“If you are looking for covered bridges, this is the mac daddy!”
Reviewed February 27, 2012

This is one long covered bridge. There are spots to pull over and take pictures and places to visit near by, well worth getting off of Interstate 91 and cruising down Rt. 5 through Windsor and over the bridge.

“Longest covered bridge”
Reviewed January 30, 2012

Remarkable covered bridge - great old sign above it reminding you to walk your horses or pay $2 fine! Always a great short cut into WIndsor, or to park and photo from Cornish NH very scenic route
