“Waterfall hike”

Check out the Wethersfield Trail - a moderate hike will get you to two lovely waterfalls and some very nice views of the valley.

“great mountain”

4 great hiking trails that will get your heart pumping. Great view at the summit with a fire tower. Water falls on Cascade trail. If your lucky you will catch some hang gliders on the summit

“Great bang for the buck”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2012

The views from atop Mt. Ascutney are fabulous. If you like, you can hike up from the bottom or you can drive up most of the way on the auto road. There are several spots to pull over and eat a picnic on the auto road. Don't forget to visit Brownsville Rock: you may see hang gliders launching.
