We have eaten at and bought takeout at Asian Bistro a dozen times during the past 3 years. On occasion it is the very best sushi and chinese food we have tasted, with excellent service. However, two times we have ordered takeout sushi and the rice was no where near done. Undercooked rice in sushi produces a weird taste and consistency. We couldn't finish our order! The first time I reported it to the manager on the phone. She apologized and offered us a $25 credit off our next dinner. No card, documentation, etc. This made for an awkward moment when we arrived a few months later and had to convince the manager that another manager had offered the credit, which he finally did. The second time was a couple of days ago. I called and the manager said, "Sorry" and that was it. Communication is always difficult as no one seems to speak fluent English and we don't speak Asian. It will be some time before we muster up the courage to take another chance on Asian Bistro.
