We had breakfast here this past weekend for the first time - we enjoyed it very much. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had the American breakfast with the sausage, they were delish! But I have to say the "piece de resistance" was indeed the sticky bun - it was amazing. Thank goodness I don't live near this bakery or I would not be able to resist those sticky buns every time I would be near there. We will definitely return - perhaps try the lunch.

Chet's Corner has been a regular for us after church on Sundays. The food is homemade, including salads, pastries, quiches, pancakes, gourmet French toast, eggs Benedict, and soups and sandwiches. Everything is very good and memorable, but the unique feature we like best is the ability to order a salad plate individually chosen from their homemade variety. Salads and pastries can be purchased to eat in or taken out. The food is pricey, but considering it's all fresh, handmade foods, it's well worth it. Don't be surprised to see a waiting line if you go on a Sunday morning!

While the setting feels a bit like a prefab in a large mall and the prices tend to be high, one can find freshly made salads and sandwiches or soups made with fresh vegetables and leave feeling that one has invested in a healthy lunch. The pastries are freshly made, and the coffee is always good. There are plenty of tables, and no one hassles those who want to linger over a long conversation or a good book. The seating area is bright, and the ceilings are high enough to keep noise at a minimum even during busy lunch hours. People of all ages seem to feel welcome, and one is likely to find young mothers with infants as well as retirees meeting friends for coffee or lunch. After 3 p.m. the kitchen is closed, and Chef's Corner becomes an expensive deli/bakery.
