The exterior neon "Elixir" sign is your first clue you're in for something unexpected in sleepy downtown White River Junction.
From the location in a converted factory, one might assume this could be a mom & pop storefront joint. But it's a gem--fresh, creative cuisine, warm, inviting staff in a comfortable yet upscale, creatively converted space in the former freight house. Some windows overlook the still active rail lines.
Deliciously creative cuisine--unexpected in a quiet middle-Vermont town. Large open bar area, creative wine list, good beer selection and mixed drink specials.
It can get a little noisy on a crowded Saturday night but the cuisine and big-city ambience is well worth it! Kudos to chef, staff and owners!
